Restore a purchase

New phone, or reinstalled the app? Open Settings › Restore Purchases. Your purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so it comes back at no extra cost as long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it on.

If it does not restore, check which Apple ID is signed in under the Settings app on your iPhone, then email us.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they are cancelled through Apple. Open Settings › Manage Subscription in the app, or on your iPhone go to the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancelling stops future payments; you keep access until the current period ends. The lifetime purchase is one payment and never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.

Refunds are handled entirely by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What is free

No account and no sign-up. Every deck gives you 10 free cards and each Session mode gives you 6, and the Icebreakers deck stays free forever with no timer and no limit. Unlocking the rest is optional, and there is no weekly subscription.

Does it work offline

Yes. Every question ships inside the app, so it works on a plane, in a basement bar, or anywhere the signal drops. The only things that need a connection are buying or restoring a purchase.

Turn notifications off

Open Settings › Notifications in the app and turn off Personal Questions. You can also switch them off for Talk entirely in your iPhone Settings.

Privacy

Talk has no accounts and collects no personal data. Anything you type in the app stays on your phone. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
